Feeling real now!

Just checked in "on line", chose our seats for the trip from Manchester to Singapore, couldn't get the boarding passes printed though (their server was down) which was a bit of shame so will have to get those when we check in the luggage.

Maggs has packed, unpacked, decluttered and packed again..I now can actually pick up both the bags (one in each hand) whereas I could only manage one before (mine!). We have a generous limit of 30kgs each, but only 20kg on the bit bewteen Sydney and Auckland so we (Maggs that is) just need to remember that...OK Maggs?

So, next stop the Raddisson tomorrow night (Friday) and then check in 60 minutes before our 0915 departure on Saturday.

I have just spent the last couple of hours chipping away at the ice to clear a way to get my car into the car park here at home. The solid ice is about 3-4 inches thick and takes some chipping away at. Hopefully I should now get the car stowed tonight.

We're meeting up from 6pm tonight at Matt's pub (the Bradway Hotel) to get together with all our family and some friends too who want to see us off in style. It'll be great to see Jack and Emily (and everyone else too of course) and Marg wants to measure their heads...and feet? (Don't think they'll grow that much in 6 weeks will they?)
